Hello to All the Beautiful People of our Big Jollylook Community!

We hope you all are well, staying safe, and staying healthy.

As we mentioned in the previous update, we started shipping the remaining Australian rewards and we already shipped more than half of them. Some of you in Australia have already received automatic emails from Backerkit with a tracking number, and the rest of you were supposed to receive them by now.

As many of you are aware, our factory is located in Irpin, a suburb of Kyiv in our homeland of The Ukraine. But…at 5 a.m. on February 24th, Russia attacked our country, throwing everybody’s plans and dreams into chaos.

It all happened so quickly and unexpectedly, it is still hard to believe.

On this day, our peaceful life ended and was suddenly replaced by explosions, sirens, and bomb shelters.

This war has touched all of us and destroyed many lives and homes.  For the past two weeks, our sole focus has been on trying to save ourselves and our families.

Every day we pray that this nightmare, this horrible war will end soon. We hope and pray that the Russian soldiers will leave our land and our people alone.

We would like to thank all of the people from our Jollylook family who have contacted us or left messages of support. We are relieved to be able to finally advise that all of our team are currently safe, and many have escaped to Poland and other parts of Europe. We all miss our homes very much and hope to return soon. But we don't even know if there will remain a place to go back to.

This is the blown-up bridge that connected our city of Irpin, where our factory was located, and Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine.

It's so dangerous in Irpin right now. There is no communication, no water, no electricity to houses and apartments. Food is in very short supply. People live in bomb shelters and try to evacuate from here as soon as possible.

At a time like this, it is especially important for all of us to come together.

Naturally, it is very challenging to predict the future of Jollylook at the moment, but I want to reassure you all that the Jollylook team is committed to shipping the remaining rewards and building our wonderful new Jollylook Auto camera. Naturally, with a war in our homeland and our team scattered over Europe there will be a delay in the completion of shipping and the new cameras, but rest assured that we will keep you informed as to our progress and the safety of our team in the Jollylook Auto updates.

If you care about the future of Ukraine and our team, you can support us by making a donation of any amount you want or purchasing a support gift card on our website.  You will be able to use it as soon as we can start shipping. This money will go to help support the members of our team left homeless by the war and needing financial assistance to feed their families.

We want to once again thank everyone who wrote to us during these difficult 16 days with words of support.

Sorry, we didn't get a chance to respond, but we've seen every message and comment on Instagram, Facebook, and our email inbox. Thank you for your kind heart.

We hope that in the nearest future the situation will clear up and we will be able to share with you our plans and strategy for the future.

Our whole team is ready to get back to work as soon as possible.

Hopefully back home in Ukraine.

You all know our story. We described it in detail in our updates. We thought this project would take half a year, and it dragged on for five years. We could have shut down many times and quit many times, but we never gave up. 

Our backer's support was a massive motivation for us, especially those who believed in us and shared kind words despite all the difficulties we went through.

Today, except for some Australian rewards, the last batch of perfect Ukrainian handmade Jollylook cameras is already on the way to our beautiful backers. 

We hope you will enjoy the Jollylook cardboard camera as much as we do. You are now the lucky owner of a unique modern vintage-styled item. 

Our team is proud to be able to share these shipping statuses finally:

Europe: All rewards shipped!

USA & Canada: All rewards shipped!

Asia and New Zeeland: All rewards shipped!

Australia: Unfortunately, UkrPoshta (Ukrainian post) had canceled all deliveries to Australia due to covid restrictions for the past three months.

We were searching for alternative shipping options to ship everything as soon it possible.

But fortunately, since yesterday, the restrictions are gone, and UkrPoshta has resumed the deliveries to Australia, so we started shipping all the remaining rewards today! Some of you have already received automatic emails from Backerkit with a tracking number, and some of you will receive them very soon.

Additionally, some backers in the community have not yet completed their survey. 

If it is you, please be sure to complete it over at BackerKit so we can ship you your reward!

You are now an owner of a unique and never-to-be-made again cardboard instant camera! The Jollylook Cardboard Vintage Instant Camera was very time-consuming and expensive to make. Only 14,000 Jollylook cardboard instant cameras were ever made, and they will no longer be produced.

Unfortunately, due to the unstable situation in the world, rising prices, we had to spend more time looking for the best shipping options, solving new issues, but we want to share with you what we have achieved.

So, here's some good news for you:

Europe

All the rewards, to our European backers have been sent, we hope you enjoy them!

USA

We shipped all the remaining US rewards, so all rewards were shipped and most of them were already delivered!

Canada and South America:

All of the rewards are in the USA now and will be shipped in the coming days.

Straight to the news:

Europe:

Last week we have shipped all the pending rewards to our European backers. Our European shipping partners have received them and the great news is that they already shipped all the rewards. Many of our European backers already received their cameras and the rest should get theirs in the coming 2 weeks. 

If you are in Europe and yet to receive your reward, expect to receive a tracking email this week.

For those of you who just received their cameras and those of you who are yet to receive your rewards, we highly recommend watching our tutorial videos before using the camera.

USA:

All the single-camera rewards were shipped and delivered, during May we will ship all the remaining US rewards, so if you pledged for 2 or more cameras, they are already being prepared by our shipping partners and you will receive your tracking number and reward in May. 

Canada and South America:

All your rewards are already being prepared by our shipping partners in the US, and you will receive your tracking number and reward in May too. 

Asia, Australia, and New Zeeland:

All your rewards are already being prepared in Ukraine and will be shipped in May.
