Straight to the news:

Our US shipping partners have received all the cameras and half of the rewards were already shipped. Many of our US backers already received their cameras and the rest should get theirs before the end of this year. Canadian and South American backers should be receiving their cameras next, in late Dec/January.

For those of you who just received their cameras and those of you who are yet to receive your rewards, we highly recommend watching our tutorial videos before using the camera.

European backers can expect to receive their rewards in January/February, with backers in the rest of the world receiving their rewards by February/March

As we said in previous updates, this project turned out to be a very challenging one, it was a fight for survival and reputation, and as you all know, this year added a bit to the challenge. We want to thank you for being with us from day one. If you already received your rewards and enjoy the Jollylook Mini camera, we kindly remind you that the new Jollylook Auto is available for pre-order on Backerkit.

Straight to the news:

All the outstanding rewards have been sent to our shipping partners for progressive shipment over the next eight weeks. North and South American backers will receive their tracking numbers in early December, with Backers from Europe and the rest of the world receiving theirs shortly after that. At this stage, we anticipate some backers will receive the cameras before Christmas with most others receiving them in January/February.

This has been a long and extraordinarily difficult process from the completion of a successful Kickstarter to finally being able to say that all cameras are now out the door and on their way to backers. We appreciate just how frustrating this has been for all of our backers, and the delays, increased shipping costs, and restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic made an already bad situation worse.

We are delighted to finally be in a position to reward the patience and support of our backers. We fully appreciate that so many of you have lost faith given the truly never-ending delays and regrettably poor communication on our part. It has been an incredibly challenging period for all of us and we are thankful that we can finally say that we have fulfilled our obligations under this Kickstarter and can move forward with a new chapter in our history, the Jollylook Auto.

While you wait to receive your rewards, we highly recommend watching our tutorial videos.

Finally Ready to Ship!!!

Straight to the news:

As we said in the previous update, all the cameras are ready and waiting to be shipped. Because of COVID, it is nearly impossible to ship anything internationally at reasonable prices. We have been speaking to many shipping and fulfillment companies in all parts of the world and finally found a solution to ship all the remaining rewards at a still high but possible cost.

In the second half of this month, we will start shipping in 3 batches to 3 different fulfillment centers. The first one will ship all the rewards in North America, the second one in Europe, and the third one in Asia and the rest of the world.

We have unlocked all your shipping addresses for the final time. We will be locking shipping addresses mid-next week. That means you have five days to make sure your shipping address in your BackerKit account is correct.

If you need to review your shipping address, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://jollylook.backerkit.com

If you need to change your shipping address, please make the changes in your BackerKit survey in the next five days.

On Monday you will receive a final address confirmation email from Backerkit.

We’re currently aiming to start shipping the rewards in the second half of August, which means that you will be finally receiving your rewards in September.

Coronavirus Restrictions Easing and Logistical Difficulties!

We hope you all are well, staying safe, and staying healthy.

The coronavirus quarantine in Ukraine will be extended approximately until the 22 of June, and the good news is that restrictions started easing on May 22 and our team is able to get back to the office.

Logistical Difficulties:

We understand how difficult it is to wait, but we have to ask you to wait some more days until the situation is back to normal and we can ship the rewards. Since April, it is impossible to ship anything internationally at reasonable prices. We received this message from our shipping partners in April:

We hope that this situation will go back to normal soon and the prices drop back to normal so we are able to ship all the remaining rewards. The shipping prices are expected to return to normal when the international passenger flights resume. 

We can't wait to ship you your rewards, and we hope we are able to do that very soon and we will keep you updated.

New Kickstarter feature:

Kickstarter has released a new feature called “Now and Next”, it is a lightweight product update format aimed at making it easier for creators to share their project’s current status with backers. We will be using this amazing new feature to update you at the beginning and end of each milestone. To find it, open the main page of the project:

Beyond health and safety, the COVID-19 outbreak has also significantly impacted businesses worldwide. In Ukraine, quarantine was introduced until April 3 to prevent the spread of coronavirus. Our small factory is now empty and our team is working from home and hoping to soon be able to work in the office again. 

Good News:

This is it! All the rewards are packed and we’re finally ready to ship!

We will be locking shipping addresses soon. That means you have two days to update your shipping address in your BackerKit survey.

If you need to review your shipping address, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://jollylook.backerkit.com

If you need to change your shipping address, please make the changes in your BackerKit survey in the next two days.
